Some good news! 
BLAFT Publications, who have been doing some very interesting work in the last few years, and are into comics publishing as well, has kindly agreed to be part of the ‘How to create comics- The COMIX.INDIA Guide’. Courtesy of Blaft, we can now pay a token amount of Rs. 1500/- for each of the first three entries that will make up the booklet. Click on the ‘How to create comics‘ link on the main menu bar to check out the requirements, which have been slightly changed since it first came up.

1. What’s the deadline for submitting entries for this booklet?
2. Will only the first 3 entries accepted, or will the best 3 entries accepted?
3. What’s the plan for consistancy etc between various authors? Any requirements for this?

There is no deadline. Whoever sends in earlier will be taken.

I expect very few entries. So I am going for the first three. But if others send in later, I’ll put them up too, but they wont get paid.
3. What’s the plan for consistancy etc between various authors? Any requirements for this?
The idea of the comic guide is that people give their personal tips to newbies. So its OK if there is overlap between ideas. I expect authors to give their own take on how to draw comics.
4. After this is published, who will retain the copyright of the material?
Authors retain copyright to the material. COMIX.INDIA does not believe in owning rights to authors works.
5. If this will be published as PDF, are colorful entries allowed?
I expect the comics to be in black and white because it will be easier for people to take printouts.
Super. I have created a rough draft of 10 pages worth of material on this. Expect to complete it within 2-3 weeks. Please wait for me to publish
