Start your own CILAN network in your town or city! CILAN stands for Comix.India Local Area Network. After forming the group, you can organize informal events in your town where you come together with copies of your own 'xerox' comics and sell them to others. Also, you can buy your friend's latest comic.
Different CILAN groups can network with each other on this forum.
After forming your group, put up a notice on this forum and let others know. If you organize an event, put up a report and pictures right here.

Discuss stuff related to Vol.02 of COMIX.INDIA. The theme of this volume is 'GIRL POWER'. Contributors to this volume keep in mind that their comics should in some way be about girls/women. Either the protagonist should be a girl or the story should be related specifically to female subjects/issues, or the comic should be created by a woman. DEADLINE FOR VOLUME 02 IS MAY 15, 2010.

Discuss Vol.03 related stuff. The theme for Vol.03 is 'THIRD WORLD FANTASY'. For this volume, we are specifically looking for comics in the fantasy genre. Original comic stories in the science fiction/fantasy genre are welcome. DEADLINE FOR VOL.03 IS JULY 31ST, 2010.

Vol. 04 is all about Non-Fiction comics. Entries for this volume must deal with real events, reportage, essay, interview, news, analysis, criticism, opinion, political satire. DEADLINE FOR VOL.04 IS OCTOBER 31, 2010.

This volume will deal specifically with comics written in languages other than English. However, all text must be accompanied by translated English text, making it bi-lingual.
