Some good news!

BLAFT Publications, who have been doing some very interesting work in the last few years, and are into comics publishing as well, has kindly agreed to be part of the ‘How to create comics- The COMIX.INDIA Guide’. Courtesy of Blaft, we can now pay a token amount of Rs. 1500/- for each of the first three entries that will make up the booklet. Click on the ‘How to create comics‘ link on the main menu bar to check out the requirements, which have been slightly changed since it first came up.

The Comix Discussion Board of iNDIA (CDBi) has been officially deactivated. It however, remains as an archive. You can access it HERE, but you can’t login. Beware of error messages!

What happened was after I migrated the CDBi database onto this new server, problems started showing up. First, many of the images got corrupted. Then I tried some modifications and that didn’t work out. Since I am a comics author and not a software geek, I don’t have the expertise to fix it.

Then, I realized that it is in fact a good sign to start afresh. In the new context of the COMIX.INDIA magazine, CDBi became irrelevant. CDBi was a forum for comics fans and wannabe authors to talk about comics. Now, the time has come to actually start making comics. The CDBi phase is over.

Please register at the new ‘COMIX.INDIA Forums’, and post stuff relevant to the magazine. This forum is now focussed on creating comics rather than just talking about them.
